As I put ink to page, it gives me great pleasure to write about the goodness of God. We all know He is good all the time.
Let me reflect back to my childhood experience. I was inspired by a lady Reverend preaching Gods Word. I sat in awe on the edge of the pew watching her move about in the pulpit, turning pages in her bible and getting a few amens from the Deacons. Right then I secretly said; "I want to do that! I had only heard of men being called into the ministry; never a female. Little did I know decades later God heard and answered my prayers.
After answering the call to become a chosen vessel to preach His Word, I couldn't wait to share the good news of Jesus Christ with anyone that would listen to me. There is so much work to be done until all have come into the knowledge of Jesus Christ.
As First Lady of Living Water Christian Center Ministries, I prayed that God would give me an area of ministry where women can come boldly with all types of issues, questions and concerns and feel some since of relief knowing there is someone who will instruct and teach them while on their journey to live a prosperous life.
I was given the vision to start W.O.W. "Women Of Worship" ministry. Where women can come together from different cultural backgrounds and educational levels, to tear down the wall of tradition and worship the true and living God without reservations. Most have been hurt, battered and bruised down throughout the years.
As Jesus moved with compassion to those He touched, I too have that same compassion for those I may encounter along the way. It gives me great joy to share with so many the good news of Jesus Christ.
I've been told by so many how comfortable they feel about talking and sharing with me any issues they are going through. I express to people all the time- that I am approachable and I have two ears to listen and two arms for hugging.
So, in closing, continue to pray with me and for me as God orders my footsteps as I too continue on this journey called life.
